Loudspeaker Restoration

We love to restore speakers particularly high-end brands/models to their form glory... depending upon condition this can present some interesting challenges:

• We need to determine what were the original performance specifications
• Often we need to source modern equivalents to the original drivers and components
• Sometimes we have to effectively rebuild cabinets where glues have dried out
• Sometimes we need to carefully restore cabinet and grille cosmetics

Usually we end up with speakers that perform better that they were when brand new due to more accurate measurement tools we have at our disposal, modern components and the fact that we are setting these up as a closely matched pair not subject to the original wide production variation that may have existed at the time.
